This unnamed woman was the mother of Asa Mitaka. She was killed by the Typhoon Devil several years prior to the main storyline.
Appearance[]
She bore heavily resemblance to her daughter, and was slightly taller than her at the time of her passing. Her hair was neatly tied into a knot at the top of her head.
Personality[]
She seemed to be a kind and warmhearted mother to Asa, accepting her daughter's flaws but comforting her when was feeling down. She was also altruistic, pushing Asa out of harm's way at the cost of her own life. Her love is reciprocated by Asa, who deeply treasures the uniform she wears as a keepsake.

Several years before the main story, Mitaka's home that she shared with her daughter and seemingly her husband was destroyed by a rampaging Typhoon Devil. After Asa tripped and fell trying to rescue a cat, she shoved Asa out of harm's way, and took the brunt of destruction at the cost of her own life. [1]
