Summary[]
Denji and Nayuta are shown browsing a supermarket, noticing a display of Chainsaw Man Curry Buns on discount. Grabbing a basketful, the two head out onto the street, only to be interrupted by a Devil attack. Just as Denji moves his hand to rev his ripcord, civilian devil hunters rush over to deal with the threat for him. The two make it home and snack on the curry bread, and a montage is shown of them settling in for the night.
Later that evening, Denji gets up to look at a poster of Chainsaw Man, contemplating his recent choices. Nayuta stirs herself awake, asking Denji to go back to sleep. He responds by asking her if she thinks he'd be happy graduating high school and getting a job like a normal person, to which she asks if he's unhappy. Denji says he isn't sure, with Nayuta responding that he's hopeless, and that she'll stay with him no matter what in order to keep him happy, adding that because she's so cute, there's no way he can be upset. As she drifts back to sleep, Denji crawls back beside her.
The next morning, at a Family Burger Restaurant franchisee, Barem, Miri, the Whip Hybrid and the Spear Hybrid are discussing their plans of a city-wide attack over lunch. Barem notes that the Church has a day of worship planned tomorrow, meaning that they'll be preoccupied to deal with any Devil attacks, though he reckons that an endless number of Public Safety hunters would show up to kill them the longer their attack continues. He then reckons that Denji would then have no choice but to transform into Chainsaw Man to deal with the problem himself.
Miri questions the plan, wondering why it's necessary for them to be targeting civilians and cause such havoc, to which the Whip Hybrid remarks that since they're weapons, they don't need to think. Miri protests, saying that as a human he deserves to think. Barem agrees with both of them, before adding that they're also Devils. He ask the group what they have in common, to which Whip Hybrid jokes that they're "hard to spell." Barem replies that all three are made to kill, and as such, God will forgive them for the bloodshed they spill tomorrow.

- Whip Hybrid's joke about "person," "devil" and "weapon" being difficult to spell makes more sense in the original Japanese text; devil and weapon are made up of two relatively complex kanji ("悪魔" and "武器" respectively) but person is spelt just with "人." Rather than just playing dumb, her joke is about how simple "person" is to write compared to the other two.
