Chapter 157

College Fund (進 (しん) 学 (がく) 資 (し) 金 (きん) , Shingaku Shikin^?) is the 157th Chapter of the Chainsaw Man manga.

Summary[]

Asa and Fami stand outside the complex gates; the former still missing her arm. She asks Fami why they're in school uniforms, to which she responds that they're the least suspicious outfit they had. She explains that the facility is surrounded with sensors that will turn on the turrets, killing them in an instant, only for Yoru to interject, asking her older sister where Chainsaw Man is. Fami reveals he's in the third floor of the basement, which can only be accessed via the main gate of the building; the War Devil's task is to destroy it. Asa asks if defeating Chainsaw Man will save Denji, which Fami affirms once more. Yoru asks her other half if she's getting cold feet, but she regains her composure.

Public Safety staff watch the two girls walk through the facility, giving the go ahead to shoot them. Asa, however, manages to hijack the turrets without even needing to touch them, with Fami explaining that Asa "owns" the turrets due to signing a contract - that the Famine Devil herself wrote - to take control of the complex's weapons facility. Yoru remarks on how Asa's naivete has worked out in their favour once more, and the two head in further. The facility staff are then informed of the break in, with the security officer recognising Asa as being a member of the Chainsaw Man Church.

Fami informs Asa that the upcoming weapons facility weren't part of the contract that she doctored up so she'll have to engage them personally, but she retorts that since she's missing her arm it should be Fami's responsibility. Fami explains that she's their last resort, before stopping Asa from entering the guards' line of sight. She tells Asa that this mission is still life or death, and that any mistake could be fatal, only for Asa to fall flat on her face. Fami remarks that Asa is a klutz, before pulling out another one of her Devil pawns.
