Chapter 190

To Their Respective Worlds (元 (もと) の世 (せ) 界 (かい) へ, Moto no Sekai e^?) is the 190th Chapter of the Chainsaw Man manga.

Summary[]

Enveloped in a void of darkness, the Aging Devil contemplates if they were eaten by the Chainsaw Devil, only to notice Pochita's figure standing in front of them. A voice emanates from his mouth, stating that they, as well as two others named George and Yaguchi, were loyal to the Aging Devil, but felt betrayed when they sent Denji to their world. Before the Aging Devil can react, they are grabbed by his victim, who lunges out from Denji's mouth and pulls them into their own realm. It's then revealed that the conversation took place within the Octopus Devil's mouth, who promptly disappears, as one of the Public Safety agents whose organs were sacrificed looks up at Fumiko with disgust and disbelief.

Back in the Aging Devil's realm, Yoshida begins to negotiate with the Devil, pointing out that since they aren't dead already, the Aging Devil can't use their powers in their own realm either. He then proposes a contract with them; send everyone back to their respective worlds. The Aging Devil asks what would happen if they refuse, only for Denji to point out how since everyone can leave through his mouth, the Aging Devil will be stuck with him forever.

Back in Japan, the tide has turned in the battle between the civilians and the pseudo-Chainsaw Men, with groups of former ganging up and beating the latter. Denji, Asa, Fami, Fumiko and Yoshida are all shown ordering drinks and food at a cafe, only for another pseudo-Chainsaw Man to rush in and try to attack them. Before they can react, the aggressor is struck down by more civilians, with Yoshida remarking how happy he is they can all return to their normal lives. Now free, the Aging Devil's Victim has taken a job as a construction worker, before it's revealed that not only was Tadashi Hasegawa also brought into the Aging Devil's realm, but the others neglected to bring him out with them.
