Kill Me Tears (キルミー
Summary[]
Asa reveals to Denji that she was able to kick Yoru out of her body, before turning her finger on herself. She quickly breaks down into tears, repeating to herself that she can’t do it, but quickly resumes pointing at Denji when he asks if she’s ok. She tells him to kill her, otherwise she’ll kill him, as she reveals that Yoru is planning a fate worse than extinction for humanity. Denji asks her why she’s threatening him, but she tells him she’s too much of a coward to just kill herself, remarking that her trying to be Yoru’s friend was a dumb idea. When he says he reckons the two of them can still be friends, Asa tells him the fact they can’t is why she’s asking if he can kill her.
She asks Denji which one of the two of them he wants dead, but he attempts to slam a chair into her. Annoyed, she calls him a murderer, even though as Denji points out, she just wanted him to kill her just seconds ago. She asks him to agonise just a bit longer so she’s mentally prepared to die, but he breaks her spirit by saying that since even someone immortal like him can never be ready to come back to life, he knows nobody is truly ready to die. Slumping to the floor, Asa tells Denji that she feels guilty for all of the people Yoru killed because she couldn’t speak up. Denji tells her not to worry about that right now and that they should deal with it after they kill the Death Devil. For now, she should just be able to enjoy herself and he convinces her to have fun blasting through the nearby abandoned buildings. Over at Fourth East High School, a teacher working with the festival planning committee is telling a new transferee that not that many people are staying in Tokyo currently. He continues by stating that over half of the classroom next door to their planning room is empty seats, before stopping to introduce the transfer student to the rest of the class. The transfer is revealed to be a messy-haired, nervous girl with concentric eyes and she announces she has a desire to “save them”.
