Chapter 197

3 Seconds (3秒, 3-Byō^?) is the 197th Chapter of the Chainsaw Man manga.

Summary[]

The bandaged boy, stunned at “Chainsaw Man” and his demonic appearance, tries to defend the devil by saying she was just joking around earlier, but he doesn’t believe her and the two clash. The fight ends with the new girl being bisected; something even the Fake Chainsaw Man questions as the fight shouldn’t have been that easy. Noticing how the student they were trying to protect is stunned silent, they keep trying to justify what happened, stating that he and the “Justice” Devil inside of him are never wrong. The student, on the other hand, is furious that Chainsaw Man seemingly killed just another regular student. Right as they’re arguing, however, the Fake Chainsaw Man notices the devil’s arm grab onto the boy, draining him of him of his life and reviving the fallen Horseman.

As she rises from the dead, the devil calculates that due to his fighting style and how he carries himself, he must be a close-range combatant only. She tells him he’ll be dead in three seconds, but she finds herself decapitated almost instantly. Her head cries out for help, all the while the Fake Chainsaw Man comments about how truly weak and pathetic she is.
