Declaration of War (
Summary[]
As the doors open, a mass of organs rushes out from its opening rather than an army of demons. The organs part to reveal Yoru, lowering her down to the ground as if she was sitting on a throne. She asks if the trio have anything they wish to request from her, and the Death Devil demands that the War Devil return to Hell and stay there for the rest of her life. In return, she vows she’ll allow the three of them to be transformed into her weapons - much to the Famine Devil’s shock. She threatens to use her powers if her demands aren’t met, and Yoru calls her bluff; she has captured the Death Devil’s karaoke friends and intends to hold them ransom, with any signal from her or any attack from the Death Devil likely being enough to kill them. Realising that she’s unable to do anything, the Death Devil stands down.
Yoru instead turns her attention to Pochita, stating the reason she brought the three of them up to her is in order for them to fight once more: as far as she’s concerned, they’re now tied, and she wants to settle the score for good. She tells him that whoever wins will inherit ownership of the world, but with the caveat that if she wins she also gets to own Pochita. Yoru asks if he accepts, but upon hearing no reply, she takes it as a yes and the two begin combat; Pochita splitting her cleanly in three while she managed to land several blows on him using her weapon fists.
As the war rages on, Denji is stuck in his subconsciousness calling for Pochita once more, only for him to stumble onto Asa. He asks her what she’s doing and she tells him she needs to head down the alleyway. When Denji asks her why, she tells him it’s because there’s something down there that she’s been chasing for so long.
