Chapter 35

Minor (未 (み) 成 (せい) 年 (ねん) , Miseinen^?) is the 35th chapter of the Chainsaw Man manga series.

Summary[]

Aki moves forwards, deflecting most of the Ghost Devil's attacks with the Future Devil's future-sight. However, he is quickly overwhelmed by the many arms of the Ghost Devil, and is soon being strangled by the creature.

In a flashback, he remembers an early meeting with Himeno, in which she offered him a cigarette. Realizing he's underage, however, she takes it back, and promises to give it back when he needs to "Rely On Something".

In the present, Aki looks up, having been released from the Ghost Devil's grasp. From amongst it's mass, Himeno's right arm reaches out, holding the cigarette. Taking it, Aki sees the word's 'Easy Revenge' written across it.

Taking a deep breath, he steps forward. Remembering Himeno's advice, he reflects that the Ghost Devil is blind, and senses its surroundings based on fear. Remaining calm, Aki climbs atop it, before promising Himeno that he'll die soon, and decapitates the Devil.

A shocked Sawatari moves to summon the Snake Devil, but is stopped by Kobeni holding a knife to her throat. Aki orders Kobeni not to kill her. He asks why she didn't quit the bureau, to which Kobeni awkwardly responds she was "Close To Earning A Bonus".
