Luck With Women (
Summary[]
Reze, clutching the severed heads, explains that she killed the two as a show of strength, stating that she'd rather not kill and asking the group to leave Denji behind and flee. Aki swiftly starts the car and swerves around her, attempting to escape.
Reze leaps atop the car with a blast, irritatedly commenting on how the gasoline within the car will cause a fire. Before she can attack, however, she is ambushed and knocked back with a kick from the Violence Fiend. Aki leans out the car window, shouting that he'd called for backup earlier, and thanking the Violence Fiend. The Fiend kicks at Reze again, however she is able to block his attack, much to its surprise. Complimenting the Violence Fiend on its strength, Reze prepares to fight. Violence Fiend however, noting how much weaker he is, calls to Kobeni before retreating into the building. Reze turns around to see Kobeni on the floor, having fallen with an injured hip. She begins to cry and beg for her life, crawling up into a ball on the floor. As she sobs, Reze leaves.
Aki continues driving down a packed motorway. Looking out the window, Angel Devil sees Reze moving through the sky, blasting herself toward their position. She lands on a large truck immediately behind them, as Denji awakes from his daze with a start. Aki tells the other that as a last resort, he'll ram the car directly into her, as their main goal is to keep Denji away from her. Denji, however, transforms and slices his way through the car towards her, as Aki warns him of his lack of blood.
Facing Reze, Denji angrily tells her that every woman he has met has tried to kill him, asking why so many are interested in the Chainsaw's heart but not him. Reze tells him that her feelings for him were genuine, causing Denji to hesitate. Aki yells out to him, snapping him back to reality and telling him not to be gullible. Denji comments that he no longer needs Reze, as he has Makima. Reze shows suprise, before saying that the two running away together would have been meaningless if Makima held influence over him. Angry, Denji yells that he doesn't want Reze's death on his conscious, and plans to capture her, as he launches himself at her.
