Shark Hurricane (サメハリケーン Same Harikēn?) is the 49th chapter of the Chainsaw Man manga series.
Summary[]
Aki moves in to attack Reze again, however after seeing a vision from the Future Devil, moves back and begins to dodge her attacks. In retaliation, Reze transforms her arm into a missile and hits the ground, causing a massive explosion.
As she is knocked back by her own blast, it is revealed the Violence Fiend arrived, managing to grab Aki and pull him out of the blast to safety. As Violence Fiend apologizes for his lateness, Aki comments he's "Never Been So Glad To See A Devil". As the two look to Reze, she pauses and asks for a 'time-out', commenting that she had lost a lot of blood and a two-against-one fight in those conditions is unfair. Violence Fiend agrees, asking Aki if they should accept a handicap in the fight, however Aki flat-out refuses. Reze then reveals her hesitation was merely a ploy, as a now monstrously massive Typhoon Devil crashes through a nearby building, offering to enter the fight.
Nearby, Angel Devil moves through the rubble, absorbing the life energy of the dying victims and comforting them. Moving over to Denji's torso, which is now being clutched by Beam, Angel Devil gives him blood, restoring him to full strength and Denji wakes up naked. Beam is delighted, commenting on how Denji is "Super Cool!". Angel Devil tells Denji he needs to choose whether he wants to die and give Reze his heart, or kill her. Denji thinks on this, before deciding to kill her, stating its an "Easy Choice".
Denji worries about Reze's enormous strength. Angel Devil asks Beam for advice, commenting that he seems to have a greater knowledge of the Chainsaw Devil. Beam suggests that Denji should use his chainsaws to move more quickly, by wrapping the chains around objects and swinging from building to building. Denji grows excited at the prospect of expanding his power, and orders Beam to transform into a shark. As he does, Denji gets dressed and jumps onto his back, and uses the chains of his chainsaw as a set of reins, hoping to control Beam like a horse. Both Beam and Angel Devil comment on this nonsensical method of movement, however Denji ignores them. Denji and Beam charge towards the fight, much to the surprise of Aki and Reze. As they move forward, the Typhoon Devil greets them excitedly.
