Chapter 64

Welcome to Hell (ウェルカムトゥーデヘル, Werukamu tū de Heru^?) is the 64th chapter of the Chainsaw Man manga series.

Summary[]

As the group survey their surroundings in Hell, Aki kicks Denji awake. Immediately, Denji re-actively begins to transform, but is only able to make the tip of the chainsaw appear from his head, as Quanxi suggests he is low on blood. She requests a truce amongst the various parties, whilst they decipher their current situation. She turns and notes that the Fiends; Power, Long, Pingtsi and Violence Fiend; are all suffering complete nervous breakdowns. Aki asks Angel Devil of their current situation, to which Angel Devil, in a petrified daze, explains they are in Hell.

Quanxi asks Pingtsi if they have a means of escape, however Pingtsi frightenedly explains they are being watched by Devils with power far greater than that of the Gun Devil: The Primal Fears, whom have never experienced death. In desperation, Pingtsi asks permission to commit suicide, only to weep as she is refused by Quanxi. She cries out as one of the doors opens and a black drop of liquid falls out and hits the ground- The Darkness Devil.

The group ready themselves to fight, as the darkness surrounds them, a row of laterally bisected astronauts appear praying in a Buddhist pose. In an instant, the Darkness Devil moves past them, having detached all of their arms from their bodies. Each person reacts with quiet shock, as Tolka- now fully under Santa Clause's control- offers the Darkness Devil Denji's heart in return for the power to kill Makima.

Outside of Hell, Santa Clause receives a small fragment of the Darkness Devil's flesh, and swallows it whole.
