Summary[]
Aki informs Denji and Power of his plans to visit Hokkaido, in order to visit his family grave. Denji and Power both protest about being left behind, since their previous trip was cancelled and Power has largely calmed down since the Darkness Devil incident. Aki gives in, as the trio leave Meowy with Kishibe.
The three are shown aboard a train, with Denji and Power fighting over snacks as Aki tries to quiet them. They are then shown aboard a ferry, on which Power gets seasick. Lastly on a bus, Power begins to use the hand-holds to swing and kick around. Moving on foot towards the grave, Denji and Power throw snowballs at Aki. After arriving at his family grave, Aki begins to pray. Noting Denji and Power's disappearance, he sees them eating rotten offerings left on the graves, having stolen them from a group of crows. Suddenly. Power vomits up the food, before screaming that it was a plot by the Darkness Devil. Aki lets out an exasperated sigh. Later, at an inn, the three eat dinner. Complaining about the amount of vegetables, Power moves them onto the others plates, before realizing there is little food left for her. Instead, she takes Denji's arm and bites into it, drinking his blood and causing another argument. Again, Aki sighs in exasperation. That night Denji awakes to see Aki sitting, looking out the window at the snow. As he joins him, Aki comments that he visits the grave each year and is usually miserable, however the two of them managed to keep him distracted the entire time.
Back in Tokyo, Kishibe returns Meowy to Aki. Asking about the trip, Kishibe comments on the difficulties in controlling Denji and Power. Aki responds that the pair have matured a lot, with Denji following Aki's orders and Power no longer throwing vegetables. He then asks whether Division 4 could be removed from the Gun Devil hunt, surprising Kishibe. Kishibe reminds him of the safety precautions being taken before the hunt, as well as the fact the mission will be classified, meaning Aki may never hear of its outcome unless directly involved. Aki still agrees. Asking why he changed his mind, Aki thinks back to seeing Denji and Power's unconscious and injured bodies in Hell, before responding "I Got Cold Feet".
That evening, Aki returns home to see Denji and Power preparing him dinner. Noting a strange purple root within it, Denji comments that Power likely added some unknown 'Secret Ingredients'. As Denji and Power boast of the effort they put into the meal, Aki takes a bite, before instantly vomiting. Power happily calls the dish a "Catastrophe", as Denji comments on the fact that all three of them have now vomited.
