Fourth East High School (第 (だい) 四 (よん) 東 (ひがし) 高 (こう) 等 (とう) 学 (がっ) 校 (こう) , Daiyon Higashi Kōtō-Gakkō^?) is where Denji, Asa Mitaka, Yuko and Hirofumi Yoshida go to school, located somewhere in Tokyo, Japan. It is the overarching setting of the Academy Saga.

Appearance and details

This high school is large and sprawling, located in a heavily populated area of Tokyo. At least five stories tall, it provides a wide view of the city from the rooftop, allowing a person to see the decrepit cityscape of apartments, buildings, and factories. Its hallways are comparable to that of any other school, seeming to mostly be polished and well-built.

The school offers Chainsaw Man buns, which Asa despises.

The school also has a Devil Hunter Club.

Trivia

• The school's name likely is meant to mirror how Denji and his colleagues were part of the fourth special division of Public Safety.
• Two girls shown to be friends of Fami that make their debut in Chapter 194 bear a strong resemblance to both the Devil Hunter Club spokeswoman and the female club member that attacked Yuko. However, as of now their identities are not confirmed.
