The Loneliness Fiend (
Appearance[]
The Loneliness Fiend appears to take the form of an average man with numerous fangs.[1]
Personality[]
Not much is know about the Loneliness Fiend's personality, other than the fact that his main goal doesn't seem to be to kill and eat humans, but to make humans feel the same loneliness as its deceased host.
History[]
At some point before Aki Hayakawa became a devil hunter, the Loneliness Devil possessed the corpse of a man who died alone in an apartment complex.[2]
The Day They Became Buddies[]
Once the Loneliness Devil possessed a host, he went floor to floor every two days in the same apartment complex, ringing the doorbell of the first room onward until someone answered the door. Once someone answered, he would immediately shoot them with his special crossbow, which would result in them fainting for 15 minutes and all their loved ones dying. 6 days after it appeared and claimed 3 victims families, it went to room 401 where Aki and Himeno were staying to capture him. After a fierce battle, Himeno managed to kill him while Aki got shot. It was at this point Aki revealed to Himeno how the fiend's crossbow worked, and why it had no effect on him.
Abilities[]
As a Fiend, the Loneliness Fiend can't make contracts and his powers are considerably weaker than those of his Devil form. However, he still has all the other standard devil abilities.
Devil Powers[]
- Crossbows: The Loneliness Fiend has two pure black crossbows that have infinite ammo for arms. Once he shoots someone with it, that person faints for 15 minutes, and all their loved ones are subsequently killed.
