Madoka ( Madoka?) was a Public Safety Devil Hunter. After the assault on the devil hunters by Gun Devil associates, he was one of the few survivors and decided to leave his job as a Devil Hunter.

Appearance[edit | edit source]

Madoka is a man of average height with short black hair. He has two horizontal scars crossing his face and wears glasses.[1]

Personality[edit | edit source]

Madoka takes a safe approach, resigning when things get too dangerous for Public Safety's Special Division despite being one of the few survivors.[2]

Plot[edit | edit source]

History[edit | edit source]

At some point Madoka was drunkenly kissed by Himeno.[3]

Eternity Devil arc[edit | edit source]

Madoka attended a "newbie welcome party" for Special Division 4, in order to welcome the new recruits.[4] He ordered three parfaits and three shiratama dumpling trays.[5]

Katana Man arc[edit | edit source]

Madoka was among the devil hunters targeted during the Gun Devil's plot to assassinate to the Special Divisions of Public Safety. Several gunmen pulled out their weapons and shot at him in broad daylight alongside his partner.[6]

Madoka survived the fight and met up with Makima, Tendo and Kurose. He delivered a message from the higher-ups that due to personnel shortage Special Divisions 1, 2 and 3 would be merged into Special Devision 4, and that Public Safety Devil Extermination Special Division 4 would be placed under Makima's command.[7]

Having delivered his message, Madoka offered Makima his resignation citing that the Special Division has become too sinister and the only options are to quit or be killed. As Makima accepts his resignation and leaves, he tries to ask her how much of the current situation had she anticipated but Makima deflects his question since he no longer works for Public Safety.[2]

Abilities[edit | edit source]

Madoka's ability are largely unknown but he managed to survive the mass assassination attempt of the Special Divisions whereas most of his fellow humans died.[7]
