Shin Toma

Shin Toma (戸 (と) 間 (ま) シン, Toma Shin^?) is Japan's Minister of Defense.

Appearance[]

Toma is a late middle-aged to elderly Japanese man with pale hair. Compared to his fellow politicians, he wears a paler suit.

Personality[]

Toma is shown to be one of the Japanese board members who is unsure of the safety of Public Safety’s plan to utilise Chainsaw Man as a tool. This is best illustrated in his response to the Aging Devil’s plan, which was to question the contract price that Public Safety had in place with it.

At some point in time, Shin Toma became the Minister of Defense of Japan.

Aging Devil arc[]

Shin Toma is one of the Japanese Government Officials who had a meeting in order to discuss the potential of erasing the Aging Devil from existence and its affects on the people of Japan.

Etymology[]

Toma’s surname comprises of the kanji for door (戸) and interval or space (間). The kanji “戸” is also used as a measurement of counting houses, so his surname could translate to “a space between counting houses.”
