Subaru (昴 (すばる) , Subaru^?) is a Public Safety Devil Hunter and a minor character in the International Assassins arc.

Subaru is a tall man with messy black hair and a short beard.^[1]

Subaru trained Miyagi's 2nd Division.

International Assassins arc[]

When Makima finds out that Denji's existence is revealed in the media, and that assassins from other countries will come to kill him, Makima orders her subordinates to bring in several Public Safety Devil Hunters, including Subaru.

When Subaru, Kurose, and Tendo are driving to Tokyo, the trio of brothers set down a spike strip and make them crash. The brothers then shoot them all dead.

Etymology[]

The name Subaru means "Pleiades" (昴 (すばる) ).
- The Pleiades are a group of more than 800 stars located about 410 light-years from Earth in the constellation Taurus. It is also the same group of stars that the Subaru brand of cars is named after, which makes his death especially ironic.
