When Makima finds out that Denji's existence is revealed in the media, and that assassins from other countries will come to kill him, Makima orders her subordinates to get several Public Safety Devil Hunters, which includes Tamaoki. He is decapitated and bisected during the fight with the Darkness Devil.

- The name Tamaoki means "ball, bullet, lens, jade, bulb, bead, gem, shot, jewel, shell, bowl, pretty girl" (玉) (tama) and "place/placement, put, set, deposit, leave behind, keep, employ, pawn" (置) (oki).
